ZÉTA

Zéta is a grape variety that was developed in 1951 by crossing Furmint and Bouvier. It was officially recognized in 1990. The vine grows at a somewhat slower pace and features serrated leaves similar to those of Furmint. Its dense, medium-sized clusters ripen early and are conducive to botrytis development. Zéta contributes to blends by making them more full-bodied and exhibits flavors of grape, fig, date, and orange.
