On the nose, quince and candied orange peel greet you first, followed by subtle mushroom and forest-floor notes. On the palate, apricot jam, dried fig, and a vibrant citrus energy lead the experience, which is destined to deepen and further evolve throughout the ageing period.

The 2025 sweet harvest was characterized by a high degree of botrytisation and rapid increases in sugar levels, allowing us to begin the aszú harvest as early as October 8. Although these conditions made collecting the grapes for szamorodni and late-harvest sweet wines more challenging, from the perspective of aszú, we were able to close an outstanding year, both in terms of the base wine and the first-class aszú berries. After carefully going through all the aszú parcels, the harvest was finally completed on October 30. Once again, 6-puttonyos Tokaji aszú wines of exceptional quality, with high acidity and harmonious sugar content, will be created this year.

uniqueness just like the most important moments of your life. Furthermore, a premium quality aszú wine preserves its value even for a century. This allows us to recall our most cherished memories with just a sip, using bottles made from fruit harvested in the year as the event.
Tokaj Aszú wines are released eight years after the harvest. Based on Holdvölgy’s experience, this is the optimal time for the wines to reach the maturity needed for exploration. To ensure customers can enjoy wines from significant vintages for themselves or their loved ones, these wines can be purchased before their official release year.
