2023-BAN PEDIG A LEGJOBB 14 MAGYAR BOR KÖZÉ KERÜLT A TÉTEL

Nyilvánosságra hozták a világ legrangosabb borversenyeként ismert Decanter World Wine Awards 2023 eredményeit Londonban. Összesen 146 magyar bor szerzett érmet, melyek között 14 platina és aranyérem született, és ebből 12-t tokaji borok érdemeltek ki. Ez egyértelműen jelzi a borvidéki tételek kimagasló minőségét és jelentős potenciálját, amit a HOLDVÖLGY EXPRESSION sikere is igazol.

A bormustrán a legjobban teljesítő magyar borok egyike (legalább 95 pontot elérők), a HOLDVÖLGY EXPRESSION 2019 lett 100/95 ponttal, és ezzel egyben az egyetlen olyan száraz, 100%-ban hárslevelű, mely 2023-ban érmet is nyert. Ennek jelentőségét az is erősíti, hogy 2007 óta összesen két száraz hárslevelű fajtabor részesült arany minősítésben, dűlőszelektált tételként pedig csak a 2019-es hárslevelűnk kapott ilyen elismerést.*

MIÉRT KÜLÖNLEGES A HOLDVÖLGY EXPRESSION BOR?

Egy igazán komplex tétel mely a vulkáni kúpok gyűrűjében, a történelmi I. osztályú mádi Becsek-dűlőben születik. A 44 éves átlagéletkorú szőlőültetvények a Birtok fennállása óta (2004) kilencedik alkalommal mutatják meg azt a kristálytiszta hárslevelűt, amelyből a HOLDVÖLGY-stílus legkifejezőbb fajta- és dűlőszelekcióját alkotjuk meg. Eleven terroir-bor a dűlő utánozhatatlan eleganciájával és a francia Seguin Moreau hordó kifinomult utolsó simításával.

MIÉRT KIEMELKEDŐ EZ AZ EREDMÉNY?

A Decanter a világ legnagyobb borversenye. 2023-ban összesen 18 250 bort neveztek 57 országból, melyeket egy 236 fős zsűri értékelt egy szigorú és hiteles 3 fázisú folyamat során. A szakértők között 53 Masters of Wine és 16 Master Sommeliers is kóstolt. A megmérettetésen nemzetközi szinten összesen 50 „Platina – Best in Show” érmet, 125 platina érmet, 705 aranyat, 5568 ezüstöt és 8161 bronzot osztottak ki.

IN 2023 IT ALSO GOT IN THE TOP 24 HUNGARIAN WINES

The Decanter World Wine Awards results are out! 146 Hungarian wines participated in the competition, 14 received platinum and gold medals, 12 of them were Tokaj wines. This and the success of the HOLDVÖLGY EXPRESSION indicates that wines of the wine region reflects high qualities and potential.

Our EXPRESSION 2019 parcel selected tokaji dry hárslevelű won GOLD medal at the DECANTER World Wine Awards 2023 and with its 95 points, it managed to get qualified among the highly scored Hungarian wines as the only dry hárslevelű earning a medal this year. But most importantly it is the only parcel select dry Hárslevelű which won a GOLD medal in the history of Decanter.

WHY IS THE EXPRESSION WINE SO SPECIAL?

This is a really complex wine from a precise parcel of the historical first growth Becsek, surrounded by volcanic cones, where the average age of the vines is 44 years. This wine is the very terroir and grape variety expression of our estate. Lively and elegant with a sophisticated finishing touch of the Seguin Moreau barrel.

DECANTER 2023 KEY STATS

18,250 wine entries were received this year from 57 countries, and were evaluated by a jury of 236 wine experts, including 53 Masters of Wines and 16 Master Sommeliers, from 30 countries. Results were the following in numbers: 50 Best in Show, 125 Platinum, 705 Gold, 5,568 Silver and 8,161 Bronze medals were announced.
